1. Go to a free taster, this way you'll know if pole is for you; don't worry- everyone there will be a beginner!

2. Do you think you're unfit, unconfident, unflexible or unco-ordinated? Well don't worry, most of the girls starting out will be just like you!

3. Come to the first social to meet and greet other poley girls!

4. Don't moisturise 24 hours before going on the pole, it will make your skin slippery.

5. Sign up at freshers fair, or at your free taster by talking to one of the society girls at your lesson. Make sure you walk away with your membership card, receipt and your FREE goodie bag and hotpants.

6. Once you have signed up, look after your membership card; you won't get the discounted lessons without it!

7. Book onto each lesson you wish to attend on the morning of your lesson at the very very latest. If you don't book you will get turned away.

8. If you book, please turn up, else your place may be filled by someone else.

9. Wear clothing that you feel comfortable in; shorts are ideal as they allow you to grip to the pole, but leggings are OK for the first few lessons.

10. Have fun and enjoy the numerous benefits of pole!

Get ready.... pole fitness has arrived at Bristol Uni!! We are pleased to be part of the Bristol University Pole Society in conjunction with Spin City.
Launched in September 2009, the society has been a great success, providing weekly classes to members for a discounted price, whilst hosting showcases and charity events.

Pole fitness is a great fun way to get fit, build strength and flexibility and meet other like minded - pole obsessed students!

Membership is £15, and will include your membership card, a pair of hotpants and access to really cheap pole fitness classes not to mention a great chance to partake in all our socials and showcases.
